How long have you been in business?

Home Care Solutions was founded in 2007, by Jenny Wolff, RN. Jenny has been a part of the local healthcare community for over 25 years and retains years of experience as a RN Case Manager in the Home Health Care Industry. Jenny is both the Owner of Home Care Solutionsand the Administrator. She is native to Northwest Florida, and is honored to have the opportunity to serve our community.

What kind of home care services do you provide?

We provide assistance with you or your loved one activities of daily living, including assistance with bathing, toileting, fall prevention, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, transportation, shopping, and dementia care.

Where do you provide services?

We provide services across the Panhandle of Northwest Florida. We provide care in a variety of settings including in private residences, assisted/independent living facilities, and even hospitals. We serve all communities of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties.

Are your caregivers experienced, screened, insured, and bonded?

We only employ caregivers with verified, prior home care experience. To help ensure the safety and well being of our clients, we perform a thorough criminal history background clearance (Level II fingerprinting) and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

Will I have a choice of who comes to my home?

Yes. We encourage you to communicate the qualities and attributes you are looking for in your caregiver. Also, our Nurse Liaison can help with this process during a Free, No obligation In-Home Assessment. We do our best to make the ideal match from the start. Your satisfaction is vital, so we always try to accommodate any requests you may have for a change in caregivers (as allowed by law).

Will my loved one always receive care from the same caregiver?

Our goal is to establish a trusting, long-term relationship with you or your loved one. Should you or your loved one want to request another caregiver for any reason, we’ll search for a match until you are happy. We understand inviting someone into your home can be an intimate experience and we want you to feel happy and comfortable with your caregiver.

If you or your loved one receives care for 8+ hours in a day or schedules care on a sporadic or as needed basis, it may be necessary to schedule more than one caregiver. If you require multiple caregivers, our goal remains the same and that is ensuring you’re satisfied and happy. We’ll do what it takes to make sure we achieve that goal.

Can I change or discontinue the services my loved one receives?

You can change the schedule or type of care whenever that becomes necessary. We understand your loved one’s situation can quickly change, so we promise to always remain flexible and try our very best to accommodate your needs. Plus, you’re never bound to a contract, so you can discontinue your relationship with Home Care Solutions at any time.

How can I verify a shift was completed?

Home Care Solutions uses several tools to track our caregivers. First, we use simple timesheets filled out by each caregiver. Then, we use a combination of technology solutions to verify time and attendance. This allows both you and us to have a record of the caregiver’s attendance.

Also, our itemized invoices are always sent after services are complete. This lets you ask any questions about time or date of care, and it allows us to make any schedule adjustments before your invoice is sent.

What are the costs of your home care services?

Every family we serve receives a Customized Plan of Care specific to their needs and budget. Our home care services are typically billed on a flat hourly basis. This makes understanding your invoice simple and straightforward. To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our office at 850-433-0733 to speak to a member of our experienced staff. If you’d like, we’ll set up a Free, No Obligation In-Home Assessment.

We always provide a written service agreement that clearly states the hourly rate prior to initiating care services. Rates will never be increased without at least thirty days notice.

Are home care services covered by insurance or Medicare?

Medicare, typically, doesn’t pay for the long term type of personal care services you or your loved one possibly needs. Home Care Solutions may be able to provide documentation to third parties (such as long-term care insurance companies) that could help you obtain the best coverage possible.

If you request assistance with billing a private insurance policy (such as long-term care insurance) for our services, we’re happy to help with the entire “benefits coordination” process. This includes providing any documentation you need for reimbursement by an insurance carrier.

We also work with reimbursement programs like the Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefit, which is a benefit paid in addition to the monthly pension paid to Veterans and surviving spouses who require our services.

Do I pay the caregiver directly?

No. Because our caregivers are employees, not independent contractors, you never have to pay our caregivers directly. We will send you (or an authorized representative) an invoice only after care has been provided.
