1) HCS is a Nationally Accredited, State licensed Home Health Agency owned and managed by Registered Nurses native to Northwest FL. Our In Home Caregivers, and the elderly clients they care for, are supervised and monitored by experienced, R.N. staff; our Nurses are on call and available 24/7.
2) We offer several efficient Home Care Solutions that are suprisingly affordable, such as our unique Wake Up/Tuck In and Procedure Escort Services. Our services are available days, evenings, nights, and weekends (even on short notice), as often as 7 days per week or simply on an as needed basis.
3) We accept most Private & Long Term Care Insurance Policies, and provide many flexible payment options to best fit your allotted budget and needs. We do not require a contract to utilize our services. If you or your loved one needs assistance initiating a Long Term Care policy, we have a specialist on staff that will can explain the fine print of your policy, and how to utilize the Home Care benefits. 4) Our professional caregivers are W-2 employees, not independent contractors. They are required to demonstrate competence through verified home care experience, intense initial orientation, and ongoing training requirements. They are thoroughly screened (including Level II federal background checks), appropriately insured, and bonded. (Note: Nurse Registries are not required to maintain Liability Insurance)
5) Our Agency license combined with our caregivers expertise allows us to provide all levels of assistance with the Activities of Daily Living, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and transferring. (Note: Home Companion Organizations are not licensed to provide any 'Hands On' Assistance). We provide all levels of assistance for same standard hourly rate.
6) If for some reason you're not pleased with the assigned caregiver, the agency will find a replacement. This is our 'Caregiver Compatibility Assurance' to you. We try our best to make the best match initially.
7) We offer our new and prospective clients a Free/No Obligation, In Home Assessment. At this time, one of our Registered Nurses will meet with you/your loved one to learn more about your unique scenario. The Nurse will then develop a personalized Plan of Care. This service is completely free of charge, and will help to establish the ideal schedule and level of assistance needed.
