What is CARES?
CARES is a division of the Department of Elder Affairs. Its is a free service that helps the Elderly of Florida with deciding the best way to care for oneself, if long term assistance is needed.
Why call CARES?
Many long-term care alternatives exsist instead of nursing home care. CARES will help you explore these alternatives.
What will CARES do?
CARES staff can provide a free comprehensive on-site assessment to determine your long-term care needs and discuss long-term care alternatives available to you.
Community Services
The goal of CARES is to assist you to remain in the community if possible. There are many services available in the community. CARES will explain how community services may help you.
